Winter Park, FL Bed and Breakfast

Today, Winter Park is a city of about 25,000 residents located just north and minutes away from Orlando in Orange County, Florida. Tucked away, you'll find Thurston House, a Maitland, FL bed and breakfast in a quiet residential area and located on one of Maitland's twenty two different lakes.
Winter Park is a delight for adventurous bed and breakfast guests. One of Florida's finest cities, it is famous for its bricked streets, vibrant lakes, abundant parks, fine shops, Rollins College, The Winter Park Farmer's Market and two unique and impressive Art Festivals.

Along with the Thurston House Bed and Breakfast gardens, Winter Park is home to Mead Gardens, where beautiful trails wind through a sub-tropical forest, and Kraft Azalea Gardens, a park with thousands of tropical shrubs and trees growing along the shores of Lake Maitland.

Bed and breakfast guests can find fine shops and restaurants along the famous downtown Winter Park, FL street, Park Avenue. A canopy of oaks and quaint brick streets set the mood for a stroll into the many unique shops and galleries.

The Scenic Boat tour runs daily 10am-4pm, showing a view of 3 different lakes and the historic canals that attach them and nearby Rollins College is the state’s first private college, with a 65 acre campus known for it’s beautiful Mediterranean Architecture.
