Dear past and future guests –

We have decided to be closed for a bit right now, until October 15th in order to handle personal business. We do hope to see you all soon after that! Please go to our “availability” to check dates and make a reservation. Please note that your innkeepers have received both vaccines already and we are very grateful for that.

Update –
What are we doing to prevent Covid-19? We have been very proactive here at Thurston House.

For bookings –
Starting October 15th, we will be accepting reservations for all 3 rooms. And we will require a 2 (or more) night minimum stay only for special event times and holidays.

Common areas –
Masks are no longer required UNLESS you have not been vaccinated, but of course it is always suggested that you wear masks at this time. If you have not been vaccinated, you must advise the innkeeper so appropriate precautions can be taken. Innkeeper-made cloth masks, disposable masks, and small hand sanitizers are available for each guest as needed. Please ask the innkeeper for them. We do suggest that if there are other guests in the building, in common areas you do remain masked unless eating or drinking.

The Keurig is available now to guests but is monitored carefully and sanitized as needed.

There still will be no regular daily 5-6pm beverage & cheese time set out, but it will be offered to you .

Social distancing will be required “IF” a guest has not been vaccinated.

Guest rooms –

Because our guest room windows are unable to be opened, we have installed the highest efficiency level filters available in our central air system.

All unnecessary items have been removed from the guest rooms, items such as pens, paper, most decorative pillows, and extra blankets. These items can be requested from the innkeeper.

TV remotes will be covered with a plastic disposable cover, replaced for each reservation.

Rooms will be “lightly” refreshed daily. If your stay is longer than 3 nights, please advise us if you want your towels and/or linens changed.

Breakfast –

If all guests are appropriately vaccinated, breakfast times can be the same as other guests.

Breakfast will be made by the innkeeper, as usual. No breakfast foods will be communal unless you are traveling together.

Most restaurants have reopened of course – some at limited capacity inside, great outdoor dining areas, delivery and takeout. Museums and all other attractions are mostly reopened.

Thank you so much and we hope to see you here soon!
