Traditional Materials / Contemporary Practice: If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make your own paints, join this immersive 2-day workshop with Eric Ondina at the Maitland Art Center north of Orlando.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own paints? This dynamic workshop is aimed for all levels of painters. During this immersive 2-day workshop, participants will learn how to craft their own personalized egg tempera blend of paints. By the end of the first session, attendees will be equipped with the skills and inspiration to infuse historical methods into their modern practice. With these foundations set, in the second day of the workshop attendees will then execute a small painting of their own choosing of subject matter that integrates these methods. Cost: $200 + $30 materials fee.
