Experience the Old Florida charm of this Queen Anne Victorian built in 1885 as the winter home of Cyrus and Mary Thurston.
We’re sure that many local Winter Park and Maitland ladies were welcomed to one of Mrs. Thurston’s afternoon teas as well.
There’s an easy elegance to afternoon tea. Delicately prepared tea sandwiches, scones and desserts are served in intimate settings throughout the first-floor parlors and dining room. We’re happy to have Infusion Tea Orlando join us in putting on this fabulous event.
While we like to nod to the traditions of afternoon tea, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. Whether you gather with a group of old friends, or come alone to make new ones, Thurston House is the quintessential setting in which to savor both culinary traditions and precious time spent together.
